Faculty Academic - Computer Information Systems / Computer Networking Technology (CIS/CNT) Scholarship

This scholarship has been developed to recognize outstanding CIS/CNT students at Schoolcraft College.

The CIS/CNT Faculty Academic Scholarship awards $500 to a student registered for the Winter 2021 semester for 6 or more credit hours.

Criteria:

  • Pursuing a CIS/CNT degree at Schoolcraft College.
  • Completed at least 12 credit hours at Schoolcraft College before the Fall 2020 semester.
  • Have at least a 3.0 Schoolcraft College cumulative grade point average.
  • Completed at least 6 credit hours in Computer Information Systems (CIS)/Computer Networking Technology (CNT) at Schoolcraft College.
  • Have at least a 3.25 grade point average in CIS/CNT courses.
  • Write a paper about what you see as the most important qualities of an information technologist and how this relates to your career goals. College-level business writing is expected. (Minimum of 500 words).

  4. Submit an essay about what you see as the most important qualities of an information technologist and how this relates to your career goals. College-level business writing is expected. (Minimum of 500 words).
  5. By submitting my Faculty Scholarship application, I am authorizing the college to release information about me and my essay (if applicable) to internal and/or external media, with the potential to be published.
